State law prohibits making a contribution in someone else’s name, reimbursing someone for a contribution made in your name, being reimbursed for a contribution made in your name, or claiming to have made a contribution when a loan is made.

If you have business dealings with the City as defined in the Campaign Finance Act, you may not contribute more than $160 to Diaz 2009. This restriction only applies to contributors listed in the City's doing business database. The maximum contribution to Diaz 2009 is $1,925. Contributions from New York City residents up to $87 may be matched 6 to 1 by the New York City Campaign Finance Board. Diaz 2009 may not accept contributions from corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
